It looked sunny outside
Like it was going to be
A decent day
But the wind blew in
Bringing the clouds
And the cold
And the gloom
Tomorrow shall be worse

Clearing the paths
For better or ill

Outside again
If only the cold
Would stay away

Hard workout
Eyes are heavy
Energy levels low
A long night ahead
Festivities
Planned in perpetuity
Been put off
For recent weeks
But tonight
They’ll occur
Making tomorrow
An early morning
For another

Trying to hang in there
Tired
As always
A bit of a headache
Feeling chilled
Layered up
Sweats and bathrobe
Watching the weather
Accumulate outside
Counting the hours
The days
Biding my time
Until it’s time
To join the world
Outside

Waiting
For my computer
To turn on
It is all the commute
I have these days
A short walk
To the living room
Then waiting
For five minutes
Watching the white dots
Chase each other
In a circle
While patiently waiting
For the mountains
To come into view
To let me
